Meet Sue Laatsch, Buyer’s Agent

bio-sue“Working in Real Estate is always something I wanted to do. I had been working in the corporate world since I graduated high school and the time came to where I was able to choose what career path I wished to take. Real Estate was it.”

Sue moved from Illinois to Northwest Indiana and became a Real Estate Broker and part of the Olga Petryszyn Team. She has great things to say about her colleagues.

“I get to meet a lot of different people, and working with Olga has been very eye-opening. Olga has so much knowledge. She is very professional and I like that. It’s what I learned from an early age from my mom. Team member Catherine is phenomenal as a transaction manager. I know that once I have negotiated an accepted offer, I can count on Catherine to make sure the transaction gets to the closing table.”

A typical day begins with a short team meeting to make sure we all know who is doing what, when and where. Next Sue follows up on new leads, pending leads, shows homes to clients and previews new listings coming on the market, trying to stay ahead of the pulse. Clients and customer service is number one to Sue. Being in the service industry with her previous job, Sue understands what it takes to get the job done and to make clients appreciate what is being done for them.

“I love talking to people and helping them find a home that makes them happy, I especially love first-time home buyers. It’s a whole new experience for them and it’s rewarding to help them close on their first home. It’s a huge move and to see the happy looks on their faces makes me happy.”

Buying a home is one of the biggest stressors in life. There are a lot of steps to take and a lot of waiting to do. Sue is very skilled in open communication and relieving as much of the worry as possible for her buyers.

In her personal life, Sue Laatsch has a real fondness for Greyhounds and has both adopted and helped place them in loving homes. “They are my stress relievers.”
