Meet Catherine Craigin

bio-catherineMeet Catherine Craigin, part of the Olga Petryszyn Team. Catherine’s role is that of Transaction Manager and Listing Coordinator.

Catherine’s philosophy: “Customer relationships are at the heart of what I do. If you don’t feel that I’ve built a strong relationship with you by the time we’ve closed on your home, then I haven’t done my Job.”

Catherine’s primary focus is on processing the listing and sales files. Corresponding with cooperating brokers and lenders as well as servicing the client’s needs are daily activities.

Coming into the real estate industry in 1999, Catherine has quite a few years of experience that she brings to the team.

“I’ve been in real estate for a long time so I have a good understanding of what our clients need,” Catherine said. “I do my best to accommodate them. Communication is key in our business so making sure that our clients are happy and up-to-date on different things that are going on with their listing or sale is very important.”

Catherine came into the industry looking for a fulfilling career that allowed her to be challenged and provide variety. “I found that a lot of Olga’s ideas matched the way that I felt clients deserved to be treated. I was honored when Olga asked me to join her team.”

As here is always something happening in real estate, Catherine never has a shortage of things to do. Helping the team keeps her busy and happy.

“Experience and communication set us apart from other real estate teams,” Catherine said. “All three of us communicate about our work on a consistent basis and we make it a point to keep track of all interactions that we have with our clients. Any of our customers can call anyone of us to get an answer on a question.”

“We all have our specific jobs, but we all have experience in every aspect of the transaction process so we’re more than willing to help in any part.”

Outside of real estate, Catherine and her family volunteer and foster for Lakeshore Paws. They have fostered and helped to find forever homes for an average of 50 dogs per year. The entire family is very helpful with the animals. It takes team work.

“Caring for something is a great way to learn responsibility. My one daughter’s favorite saying is ‘the dog might only be here for a part of your life…but for the dog, you are it’s whole life.’”
